Hartopp and Lannoy Stage 3 Consultation Exhibitions and Events

Dear All,

This is our third round of consultation exhibitions and events about the proposed development of new homes on the Aintree Estate.

These new homes are to replace the recently demolished Hartopp Point and Lannoy Point tower blocks.

We are still developing our designs and we want to invite you to our third round of consultation before we submit a planning application early next year:

We will use the next round of comments to refine our designs further before we submit a planning application. We will continue to record your feedback so that we can show how your comments have been considered. We will capture this in our Statement of Community Involvement. This report will form part of the formal planning application submission. Anyone can make further comments on the proposal as part of the planning application process.

You are invited to the third in our series of public consultation events. We expect this to be the last consultation stage before a planning application for the proposal is submitted in early 2022.

The project team will be hosting an online public consultation via Zoom on Thursday 25th November:

  • Afternoon (12.00pm – 1.30pm) –Meeting ID: 882 6950 9596
  • Evening (6.00pm – 7.30pm) – Meeting ID: 873 5590 0559

    • We will also be holding an in-person, drop-in event on Saturday 27th November at Sir John Lillie Primary School, 245 Lillie Rd, London, SW6 7LN. You can meet the team from 12.00 pm – 4.00 pm.

    This is a step-free venue, and we will be taking the necessary measures to ensure we meet all COVID precautions.

    Access to the in-person event is via the school entrance on Lillie Road (via the gate next to the zebra crossing on Lillie Road).

    and provide feedback.

    Online consultation

    • We will be hosting an online public consultation via zoom on Thursday 16 September. There will

    be two sessions and you can use the meeting ID’s below to join the zoom meetings.

    Drop-in event

    • We will also be holding an in-person, drop-in event on Saturday 18 of

    September at Sir John Lillie Primary School. You can meet the team in the

    playground from 12.00pm – 4.00pm. This is a step-free venue.

    Help design the new homes coming to the Aintree Estate

    Dear Resident,

    We’re writing to invite you to help us design new homes to replace Hartopp Point and Lannoy Point and see the progress we’ve made with your help.

    We will be holding further online events and an in-person event at Sir John Lillie Primary School where we will be sharing the feedback you’ve given us and how the design has evolved in response.

    • On-line events: 16 September starting at 12.30pm and 6pm

    • In person drop in event: 18 September from noon to 4pm at Sir John Lillie Primary School

    This exciting development is part of our plan to build 1,500 new genuinely affordable homes in the borough for local people.

    The attached newsletter marks the start of the second stage of our consultation and engagement process with local residents. It also gives details of how you can join the online meetings and the drop-in. We hope you can join us and share your views on the developing proposals.

    Many thanks to those 74 people who attended the first event held in June. We value your views and want you continue to help us shape these proposals.
